All About Me
I have loved sports for as long as I can remember. My mom tells me that I preferred any type of ball over what "normal" kids wanted as gifts. I would actually sleep with them, instead of the normal stuffed animal!
Because of my love of sports I have always played multiple sports. Starting at age three I was playing soccer, T-ball, and taking dance lessons (my mom made me). Through the years other sports were added such as basketball, football and tennis. In 8th grade I was still playing Baseball (two teams), basketball (two teams), football, tennis and volleyball.
I came to the realization that in High School I would have to narrow my focus because of the academic rigor of Marquette High School. There just was not enough time to do them all.
I decided to only play Baseball (my first love), football, and Basketball.
I know that I will have to make that tough decision once again when I go to college. Even though God has given me a gift so that I may enjoy all sports at a competitive level, Baseball is where my passion is and where I hope my future is.
High School sports has been an amazing journey so far. (See below for more detailed information on my High School career to date). I am looking forward to my last year of high school, but am anxiously awaiting the next step of college where I hope to get the opportunity to play baseball at an even higher competitive level.
